Helpdesk Technician Competitive Salary + Shift Allowances Skelton, Cumbria Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client a leading Engineering Support Services organisation for an Individual to join their team in Skelton to provide Engineering helpdesk support to their customers. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows - - Working alongside Communications Engineers the Technician will be responsible for providing 24x7 helpdesk support to their Customer Users - Providing 1st line fixes or escalating calls to Engineers as per process - Provide equipment monitoring, taking any action on equipment failures as per standard operating procedures - Supporting site operations as required The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience - - GCSE in Physics or Maths at Grade A-C or ideally a NVQ 3 in Electronic Engineering or similar electronics related subject - Any exposure to or an interest in RF or HF Engineering would be desirable - Excellent attention to detail - able to work to set processes - Conscientious and enthusiastic with a can do attitude - Willingness to work a 24x7 shift pattern - Full UK Drivers Licence - Ability to gain or maintain UK SC level security clearance This is an excellent opportunity for a school or college leaver to join a leading Engineering Support Services organisation to provide support on a variety of communications equipment.
