Chase and Holland are currently working with a well established charity in the Wakefield area to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. As a charity they work with a number of people and groups ranging from children to adults. They are well established with over 50 years experience working with the community and plans to grow over the next few years Role Responsibilities - Petty Cash - Ensuring assets are safeguarded - Bank Payments and Reconciliations - Preparation of Purchase Invoices for Authorisation - Prepare and process supplier accounts - Ensure liabilities are discharged in a timely manner and compliance with VAT and other statutory regulations are achieved. - Count and prepare money and documentation for routine banking and cash distribution, ensuring records are accurate, security measures are adhered to and deadlines are met. - Ad hoc admin duties such as filing, photocopying and mail distribution. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required: In order to be successful in this role you must be a self starter and have Sage 200 experience and have a friendly and positive attitude.
