BRC are excited to be working with a large housing association in Sheffield. They pride themselves on providing high-quality homes, delivering amazing service to customers and being a great company to work for. We are looking to recruit a Contracts Officer to gather information, diagnose problems and suggest practical solutions. The candidate will also have to organise the renewal of expiring gas safety certificates. The role is mostly admin, the candidate should have experience using Word and Excel programmes. Key Responsibilities: - Support the effective delivery of planned preventative maintenance, responsive repairs and where applicable programmes for equipment replacement - Assist contractors, tenants and colleagues with queries and complaints relating to your contracts to resolve them quickly and effectively - Actively monitor and challenge the service provided by contractors and collect agreed performance information, presenting this in formats appropriate for the audience - Arrange and administer regular contract review meetings to enable contractor performance to be scrutinised. This will include financial and operational performance - Proactively maintain accurate records, including regular property and asset reconciliation with contractors, to ensure compliance is met. - Ensure purchase/works orders are raised promptly and accurately to enable works to be carried out and budgets to be monitored.
