Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst
Our client is essentially a start-up business within the renewable energy space, they have already grown significantly over the past few years and this newly created FP&A role will be integral to the future growth planned in both the domestic and commercial space.
Job Specification/Core Responsibilities:
The FP&A role is a brand-new position which has been created to ensure the business continues its planned growth and remains competitive within an ever-changing sector. The role is a standalone position reporting directly to the Finance Director; however, this role will be a key business partnering position as you will be working with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the businesses overall goals. Below are some of the key areas of focus for this role:·Designing KPI’s and dashboards.·Preparation of board presentations.·Budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.·Due Diligence for new business opportunities and post-acquisition integration.·Process improvement and systems expertise.·Identify and implement a Business Intelligence tool.·5-year strategic plans
The key for this role is to be able to work autonomously, be a fantastic business partner and bring others along on the journey and enable change and transition to achieve the business goals.
The ideal person for this role will have a proven commercial and analytical background, if within the energy/renewables space than this would be a huge advantage for this position.
The successful person will embrace change, enjoy using their initiative and be able to present ideas and findings to the executive team.
Offer/Benefits:The salary on offer for this role is £45,000 - £55,000, it is a permanent opportunity and is within one of the most exciting and developing industries out there. You will report directly to the Finance Director and will have excellent exposure to the executive team as well as partnering with the wider business.
