My client is a world leader in the manufacture and development of consumer and domestic technology. Year on year growth and developing the latest innovative technology has seen the need to expand the team further with Compliance Manager. The successful Compliance Manager key role is dealing with the regulations and legal requirements, making sure how products being produced meet the specific requirements or industry standards, but also responsible for; * Acting as the pivotal employee in the knowledge to industry present and changing standards. * Due to product needing to meet requirements and external scrutiny, assist project teams and advice on costs so products can meet requirements. * Maintenance on existing products, making sure the requirements and industry standards are kept up to date. * Provide recommendations on risk assessments, safety guidance and manufactured goods liability. * Due to audits, ensure adequate records to meet regulations is kept. Compliance Manager will need proven experience in an engineering role of similar responsibilities. It is necessary to have at least a HND or equivalent within engineering or science, advantageous if from a machinery or consumer goods background. Knowledge of goods testing, along with EU legislation. Self-motivated and shows initiative to react to problems, quickly solving issues and office literate, additional language would be beneficial.
