Capita IT Resourcing is currently recruiting for a number of Infrastructure Engineers to join a FTSE 100 client on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will assist the client in the provision of an excellent level standard of technical support and service delivery in accordance with SLAs. Main role responsibilities: - Help to maintain technical OS support across the supported server estate including restricted environments. - Pacrticipate in a 24/7 shift rota providing technical OS support in and outside of normal office hours. - Adhere to Remedy usage guidlines and play an active role in the team's Remedy queues. - Major Incident participation as well as assisting with problem management to identify root cause of incidents. - Employ preventitive measures and be as proactive in your approach as possible. - Help with documentation of all installations, customisation and processes. - Provide customer interface where necessary. Essential skills and experience: - Good understanding of Windows Server OS 2003/2008/2012 - Good understanding of VMware platforms (vCentre, ESX, vShield) - Experience working with IBM/HP Blade Centres - Good understanding of Active Directory Administration - Understanding of ITIL principles Desirable skills and experience: - Systems management (Nimsoft/BMC Patrol) - Familiarity with Issue and Change management systems (BMC Remedy/Amdocs) - ISA/TMG - Websense - Powershell scripting If you are interested in the role and would like to apply, please send me your updated CV for immediate consideration.
