Job Title: Principal Software Engineer (Cloud, AWS) Job ID: 04133 Location: Cambridge Job Type: Permanent Salary: £60-72k Industry: Software Company: An opportunity has come up for a Principal Software Engineer role to work for an award winning, cutting edge Technology Organisation based in Cambridge. The role will be work as part of the Connect team to research, design and implement the cloud platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Key Responsibilities: - To design and develop cutting edge, highly available and scalable features - To maintain and grow your knowledge in an environment of rapidly changing technology - To promote cloud technologies and practices throughout AVEVA - To demonstrate and promote secure practices - To work as part of an agile development team Measures of Success: - Successful delivery of new features within agreed timeframe - Consistent high-quality work - Establishment of an excellent reputation and working relationships - Problems solved proactively and efficiently Desired skills and experience: - Proven strong design and coding skills with a reputation for delivering quality results quickly - A strong desire to own and solve challenges - Excellent communication and inter-personal skills - Ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships - Experience developing in multiple languages. We make much use of JavaScript and C# - Web development.
