DV Cleared Software Engineers / Software Developers / Technical Consultants - 35,000 - 65,000 plus excellent benefits A well renowned and globally recognised Technology Company has a large number of new and exciting opportunities for DV Cleared engineers, from junior to Senior level, to join its World Class Cyber Security Division in Gloucestershire. Active in over 170 countries worldwide, this organisation works closely with Government and commercial clients, helping them to secure and protect their networks and critical infrastructure. This area of the business, researches and drives applications, product and service development across a huge range of technologies, including: Real-time data processing Exploitable scalable, multi-core, mesh architectures for visualisation of massive data sets The latest security measures and countermeasures Bespoke network design Design, integration, testing and support of world leading big data platforms Building security applications for desktop and mobile platforms.The practice is looking to ramp up it's already significant capabilities and is looking for a number of Software Engineers, from varying technical backgrounds. We are keen to hear from people with knowledge of or exposure to any of the following;Java/JEE C, C++ (STL, multi-threaded/real-time), C#, Objective-C Python Javascript Mobile platform development; e.g. Android, iOS, ARM Low-level desktop/server platform development for Windows, Linux and/or Mac OSX Enterprise-level web technologies; e.g. Django, Node.js, SpringMVC, ASP.NET, RabbitMQ, MySQL/Microsoft SQL Server, REST/SOAP API design Automation technologies for building, testing, analysis and deployment; e.g. Bamboo, CodeSonar, Robot Framework, Selenium, vSphere, Docker, Puppet, Salt Real-time, big-data processing; e.g. Apache Hadoop stack technologies, Pig, Hive Vulnerability research with reverse engineering, penetration testing and ethical hacking Comprehensive knowledge of operating system security and associated network/platform design, hardening and deployment Understanding of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), application protocols (e.g. HTTP, SSL/TLS), firewall theory and packet analysis Software lifecycle, issue management and version control technologies and practices; e.g. Git (using Git Flow), Stash/Bitbucket, Jira, Scrum/KanbanThis is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing commercial cyber security companies in the world.
