Field Service Engineer - Vacuum Engineering - UK - Work from Home - RC4 Salary / benefits: c£35-50k+ experience dependant. Job Term: Permanent / Full Time Job Outline: A leading provider of vacuum equipment is currently seeking a Service Engineer to join their Midlands Office. Working from home, responsibilities will include the installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of vacuum and furnace equipment. You will also be responsible for routine servicing and breakdown assistance to customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for start-up and commissioning of vacuum and furnace equipment at customer sites, across the UK and overseas. Additionally the candidate will provide customer training, to ensure safe operation and maintenance of vacuum and furnace equipment. This role requires regular travel to customer sites worldwide. Therefore, this vacancy requires a candidate who can commit to regular stays away from home. Candidates must be willing to travel, globally as required. Experience: Candidates for this vacancy should have a proven background in a similar service role, and be familiar with vacuum furnaces and systems. Candidates should also be familiar with electrical, electronic and mechanical servicing. Qualifications: Candidates who hold qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering and have industrial experience are preferred.
