The main focus of the role will be to focus on the testing of a number of new systems and applications being designed, developed and implemented into the client's core business area. Your primary role will be part of a team that execute testing of all key systems through provision of test scripts, appropriate test documentation and following appropriate processes whilst working alongside the Test Lead. The role is on a 3 month contract paying a rate of £160 - £220pd depending on experience. The post also carries additional responsibilities including actively contributing to on-target testing delivery and contributing to system validation status. This role will have a large project focus but also be involved with on going system enhancement and business as usual activities. In order to be considered the client is ideally looking for someone with the following skills, experience or exposure; * An understanding of NHS data models and structures, such as the NHS Data Dictionary and relational and non-relational data models * Experience of working in the NHS in an informatics or testing role * Experience of using MS Excel, MS SharePoint * Understands and able to use appropriate automated testing processes and tools * Experience of using automated frameworks using Selenium, Specflow/Gherkin/Cucumber * An understanding of continuous integration/deployment * Working on cross platform applications, * Experience of using SQL to interpret test results * Good knowledge or exposure of C# coding * Experience of performance testing If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply now for an immediate response!
