An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Media Co-ordinator to join our team based in Nottingham. You will be on a full time permanent basis and will be offered a competitive salary of £18,500 - £21,500 per annum dependent on experience. About the Digital Media Co-ordinator role We are seeking online media talent to help carry out our digital marketing activities. This is an exciting opportunity to help the Students' Union engage creatively online with our student audience. We are a youth organisation and wish to recruit someone who is nimble and proficient online who can develop excellent presence and engagement through their knowledge of our youth audience. In this role you will oversee all aspects of the digital and social media marketing campaigns, plan, manage and create content across all digital and social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and blogs. You will work with internal and external teams to obtain necessary content, keep all parties abreast of campaign progress and ensure our consistency in tone of voice. Skills needed to become our Digital Media Co-ordinator - Ideally you will be from a social media or journalism background, having either studied it as part of your degree, as work experience or even be an online influencer yourself - In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms - An ability to research and produce high quality written material - Create engaging videos - Good analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines We're looking for someone who has a passion for digital media that manifests itself through self-teaching, exploring and bringing new ideas to the table.
