We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support the Financial Planning and Analysis Group at AWE. As a Finance Analyst within Financial Planning and Analysis you will be responsible for reviewing actual revenues and costs against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances to determine the financial drivers and impacts of these variances, and compiling reports for both external and internal customers to review. We are looking for the Finance Analyst to have: * Qualification, or working towards a suitable accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or qualified by experience * Able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels * Excellent communication skills * Excellentanalytical and technical financial skills * Competent in budget management * Competent in cash management * Competent in independence assurance * Competent in financial accounting * Working towards competence in financial modelling and scenario analysis * Working towards competence in confidence modelling * Competent in performance analysis AWE plays a crucial role in the defence of the United Kingdom, by providing and maintaining the warheads for the country's nuclear deterrent.
