Chase and Holland are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable leading global manufacturing company based in Hull who require an experienced part time Credit Controller for a 6-month contract to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large and successful organisation, working 25 hours per week. Duties include: - Ensure the timely and efficient collection of cash from customers - Collect money by telephone, letter and email - Liaise with internal departments regarding problem accounts to find solutions to outstanding issues - Reviewing stop accounts and manage credit limits - Allocate payments to customer accounts in various currencies - Performing periodic credit checks - Reviewing credit applications and present to senior management for approval - Deal with both internal and external queries as well as various other ad hoc tasks The ideal candidate will: - Have experience and a passion for working in credit control - Have previous experience working with multiple currencies - Be highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment - Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport with others internally and externally - Be a proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel - Experience of using ERP systems is desirable but not essential In return you will be offered an excellent salary and competitive benefits package, alongside the opportunity to join an expanding business with long term potential.
