About the Opportunity: Key Account Manager - High Level Dealer Knowledge Home Based - Covering North England - £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary - £10,000+ Bonus - Company Car - 25 Days Holiday - Pension - Private Health Insurance - Phone & Laptop Engaging with multiple departments in your prospects you will manage and develop innovative value propositions to secure growth of your client. The Key Account Manager will: - Maintain existing high-level dealership and manufacturer relationships. - Prospect and network through dealer contacts in order to both install new products into existing accounts (dealers). - Work to build relationships with key stakeholder as Dealer Group Head Office level. - With the aim to maximise the potential for both the dealer and our client. - Achieve/Exceed sales targets for both product unit sales as well as margins. - Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of all developments to ensure the account is managed successfully to increase revenue. - Identify and develop additional business opportunities with the dealer. About You: The Key Account Manager will need to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience: - Previous experience within the retail automotive market is essential as ultimately you will be working with a portfolio of retail automotive car dealerships. - You'll have extremely strong commercial and financial awareness and have proven and demonstrable experience in the following: - Excellent people skills and a team player with a high level of customer focus and the ability to motivate, coach and develop dealers to support sales initiatives and deliver results. - Strong organisational and planning skills including the ability to work on a range of projects/tasks and to be able to establish priorities so that results are delivered and deadlines met. - Demonstrate sound sales processes and techniques, especially the ability to negotiate and actively close sales. - High standard of personal presentation and the ability to present to all stakeholder levels. - Ability to collect, collate, understand and evaluate information including financial data with good attention to detail. In addition to this, you'll need to have: - Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive and enthusiastic attitude. - The ability to plan and ensure your time is managed efficiently. - Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel extensively across the UK.
