Applications are invited for the above post in the University eLearning Team. The e-Learning Technologist's role is to support the Senior eLearning Technologist in the implementation of the University Learning & Teaching Strategy, as it relates to elearning. You will join a team who provide a central source of expertise and offer both pedagogical and technical guidance to users in order to mainstream the use of a range of tools and learning technologies including, but not limited to Moodle, Lecture Capture, Turnitin, e-Portfolios, student response systems, Google suite of applications and mobile technologies. A key facet of your role will be to collaborate with staff in the planning and developing of engaging, interactive and instructionally sound online activities, resources and digital media assets (e.g. video, podcasts, social media, reusable learning objects). Educated to a degree level, or with equivalent work-related experience, you will possess a broad array of technical skills, and have a flair for design and an eye for detail. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to engage with staff at all levels, helping them to enhance their teaching with the appropriate use of learning technology.
