C&I ENGINEER - WILTSHIRE - c£34,000 - £42,000pa A leading manufacturing organisation is looking for a C&I (Controls & Instrumentation) Engineer to join their manufacturing plant in Wiltshire, on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, you will provide operational support. You will be involved in equipment troubleshooting, fault finding, root cause investigations and process improvements. This position does also include project elements where you will provide technical support to the procurement and testing of new equipment on capital projects. In addition to this, candidates will be the System Technical Expert for all regulated control and automation systems within the GMP production area. Responsible for troubleshooting and liaising with Engineering and Maintenance technicians to establish route cause, develop and manage appropriate corrective action plans. In order to be considered for the C&I Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation) role candidates must have a professional qualification in Control and Automation Systems or equivalent specialist PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley Wonderware), SCADA and Data Acquisition systems. In addition to this you will have experience of working within a GMP or highly regulated environment (e.g Pharmaceutical, Food, FMCG, Chemical etc.). C&I Engineer role is based in Wiltshire and is commutable from Basingstoke, Swindon, Andover, Salisbury, Southampton, Eastleigh, Winchester, Newbury and other locations across Hampshire and Wiltshire. Possible similar job titles may include; CI Engineer, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer, Controls Engineer, Controls Technician, Instrument Technician, Automation Engineer, Automation and Controls Engineer.
