Interim Management Accountant
This role will focus on the management reporting for a portfolio of contracts that are circa £20mill, business partnering account managers and directors and being able to challenge and discuss in detail the numbers.
Our client is a large, international business that is well developed in it's arena with it's UK HQ in Weybridge in lovely offices and flexi working.
Gain an in depth understanding of the commercials of the key contracts to optimise profit and protect the business from any commercial risk
Ensure controls are in place to monitor and accurately forecast the regions financial performance.
Produce timely and accurate monthly forecasts and actual results.
Regional budgeting process
Provide financial support to the operational managers in order to reduce costs and maximise revenue.
Ensure that all contractual variations (price increases and volume changes) are accounted for and all additional work charged to customers
Provide support in contract negotiations
Build strong and influential relationships both internally and externally
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Immediately Available
- Contract portfolio management / involvement
- Cost Control
- Multi cost code exposure
- Business partnering senior non finance levels within an organisation
- Open Accounts would be beneficial
- Able to challenge internal stakeholders
A competitive day rate for a minimum of 12mths to cover a maternity leave.
