ICT Support Technician
Based – Coalville, Leicestershire (travel to other offices will be required)
Salary: £20,864 - £23,176 plus 9% market enhancement
Hours: 35 hours per week, to be worked on a rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30AM and 6.00PM. You will also participate in our on-call rota, Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9.00AM and 5.00PM.

We are seeking a highly motivated ICT Support Technician with at least 1 year’s commercial experience in a technical support role to provide a professional, customer-focused, support service to the organisations within emh group.
You will join our busy Service Desk Team at our primary location in Coalville however the role will at times require you to work from other offices across the East Midlands.
As an ICT Support Technician, you will be the first point of call for all ICT incidents and service requests, providing a customer focused support service and endeavouring to resolve requests at the first point of contact. You will fix faults and maintain ICT equipment and peripheral devices; manage our user’s network, application and telephony accounts; and safeguard the security of our systems, maintaining data integrity and ensuring equipment is protected and maintained.
The ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate will have a flexible and positive attitude to the workplace and be able to demonstrate experience of providing an excellent customer-focused service. Team working is essential as is a practical knowledge of configuring and updating PCs, laptops, printers, and other client devices as well as using a range of software applications. You must be able to assess and solves problems, and have good communications skills with the ability to provide clear explanations to none-technical people at all levels.

An NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification or experience would be advantageous, as would technical training such as CompTIA A+ certification. Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE grade C+ or equivalent) are essential. As the role requires travel to the group’s other offices across the East Midlands so applicants must have their own transport.
