Now, we are looking for a School Administrator to join our private boarding school in Torquay on a maternity cover contract for a minimum of one year. You will have the opportunity to build on your existing knowledge and play an integral part in the day-to-day running of the organisation. Your Role: As a School Administrator, you'll help to ensure that our boarding school operates in-line with visa requirements. Reporting to the Head of Boarding, you will: - Maintain student visa records and systems - Become the school's advisor on UKVI and visa matters - Monitor and report on changes to legislation - Develop a strong working relationship with students - Help to recruit and quality-assure host families for students About You: To be considered, you will need: - Administration experience, ideally gained within a school - Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office - Great interpersonal skills, as you'll be working on the Reception Desk - The willingness to learn and undergo training - Superb communication skills and a highly organised approach Other organisations may call this role Administrator, Admin Assistant, Admin Clerk, Receptionist, Secretary, Accommodation & Visa Compliance Officer, Visa Compliance Administrator or Office Administrator. We're eager to hear from candidates with experience as a School Administrator, Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, EA, PA, Accommodation Officer or Accommodation Administrator. This is a full time role, working 8:15 - 17:15, Monday - Thursday and 8:15 - 16:15 on Friday.
