3 month contract - Bespoke applications/specialist systems support

A chance to join a dynamic, high performance project team to help support a major software roll-out programme.

You must have experience of providing 1st, 2nd (and ideally some 3rd line) system support. The software platform is bespoke so ideally you will have experience of supporting a bespoke application. However, this is not essential. Your background could be either Unix or Windows.

Skills required

- Planning and organising deployment of configuration/changes/software releases

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Team focus, comfortable coordinating and communicating to numerous departments

- A background in troubleshooting and resolving complex user issues surrounding bespoke software

- Customer service focus

- Experience of working with external suppliers

- Able to prioritise workload, able to successfully deliver high-volume support, administration and software configuration work

- A desire to learn and grow with the business - a positive and energetic attitude is essential in this very busy environment

This is not a general IT technical support position, it’s a specialist bespoke software systems support position with 3 key areas to it:

-System Administration

-Configuration using a change management process

-Support- 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of software platforms and mobile devices

This is a long running project so extension is very possible. Please do not apply unless you have current or very recent bespoke applications support experience.
