Summary As a Project Engineer you will be be involved in the development of a 3 year capital plan for manufacturing capital investments. As part of this, you will also be responsible for reviewing plant operations with the view to improve aspects of efficiency. Being a true 'starter/finisher' in nature - you will take the lead on implementation of capital investment projects right from design phase, through to commissioning and beyond. Long term, you will play a key role in establishing best practice in engineering standards, implementing NPD and EPD projects during realisation phase all the way through to manufacturing environment. What we need from you - Influencing ability: positively influence instrumental players without direct report authority - Previous experience of managing contractors - Strong project implementation experience from 'cradle to grave' - Engineering knowledge - HNC or Degree equivalent in Technical Engineering subject (or related) - Relate-able industry experience: FMCG, food or pharmaceutical experience would be advantageous. (Other industries will be considered) - Prior experience in energy reduction and utility optimisation - Sound knowledge of ISO9001 quality standards, ISO14001 environmental standards, and GMP (ISO22715) principles.
