Application Specialist, £45,000, Bristol An application Specialist is required by the UK's leading engineering support services company with ultra-modern offices in Stoke Gifford, Bristol. This is a great chance to secure a role working for a FTSE100 employer that offers a supporting environment and excellent visibility to the wider business. The purpose of the role is to support the application and technology stack across the Land Sector throughout the application lifecycle. This is to include maintenance, support and upgrades. Key Technical Skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and / or Oracle - Experience of providing a Release Management role promoting code between and managing Development, test UAT and production environments - Experience of implementing Application Lifecycle Management framework and policy - Ability to deal with and manage conflict whilst building successful business relationships across a range of stakeholder groups - Resolution of technical application issues and problems with the operational teams - Experience of working with / through problems and issues to meet agreed SLAs - Managing the resolution queue of IT software application issues and problems through a Service Desk platform - Good working knowledge of different application technologies and configuration - Good working knowledge of scripts and languages; VB Script, Javascript, Power Shell, XML - Understanding the alignment between technical applications and business requirements Package - 28 days holiday - Pension - Health plan - Onsite parking Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
