My succesful Aylesbury based client is seeking a part time Marketing Assistant to take over the responsibility for marketing their growing business of website design, development and maintenance.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and enterprising person with an outgoing personality, great telephone manner, excellent written and spoken English, a passion for IT and technology, and a great understanding of business marketing and promotion.
You will work alongside the MD of the company and your role will include website promotion, search engine promotion (SEO), link building and keyword/competitor analysis; social media engagement, regularly posting on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter; email and direct marketing, sourcing databases, creating email marketing and monitoring results; customer engagement, newsletters, feedback analysis and promoting recommendations; networking, attending events with a view to promoting the business, and attending business shows and designing the stand.Candidates must have worked in the IT Industry previously or be passionate about IT. Only candidates who meet this criteria will be considered.
Two years’ experience in a similar role or a recently completed relevant course in marketing/SEO is required.
A competitive salary is offered pro-rata and ideally you will work approximately 20 hours a week Monday to Friday, although this is flexible.
