The company are entering into an exciting period of growth with a presence in multiple industry sectors including Power, Utilities, Pharmaceutical, Food & Drink, Oil & Gas and General Engineering As part of their exciting growth plans the company are seeking Variable Speed Drive Service Engineers throughout the whole of the UK The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible to attend various key client sites for routine service and repair work on all makes of Variable Speed Drives and Soft Starts, with installation and refitting of new for old. Responsibilities: - Service Existing Contract Customers installed Speed Drives - Provide installation, Commissioning, Repair and Test of Variable Speed Drives - To assist in small installations of MCC,s and New for Old Variable Speed Drives and Soft starters - To attend breakdowns to customers sites for reactive repairs - To Test and Commission Products offered by the company - To mark up schematic electrical drawings with modifications. - To support the support sales team and others with specialised knowledge relating to technical issues To liaise with customers on site regarding technical issues and progress of work To provide and maintain customer relationships for established customers Requirements: Ideally you will be qualified to a minimum of C &G Part 1,2 & 3, HNC/ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. - IEE 17 Edition Inspections & Testing Certificate - Experience of installation, test, commission and repair of Variable Speed Drives and / or UPS / and or / Soft Starts. - Commercially aware with strong engineering background in electrical process equipment maintenance and / or manufacture / fault finding of electrical control panels would be an advantage - Applicants will ideally have experience in various industry sectors such as, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, paper & pulp, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing and Mining & Aggregate Companies with the ability to understand complex process systems.
