HARDWARE/FIRMWARE DESIGN ENGINEER - PETERSFIELD - UPTO £35,000 DOE My client is a world leading specialist in image processing and standards conversion, with a 14+ year history of broadcast product design and manufacture. Due to their continuous growth they are now seeking an experienced Firmware/Hardware Design Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant HND/degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent. You must be proficient in digital signal processing design implementation. Role Description - Based in the head office in Petersfield; my client are looking for a firmware developer to implement designs in VHDL targeting the latest Intel (Altera) devices. - You will be involved in the product full life cycle from concept to delivery including the implementation of novel video digital signal processing algorithms. - Capable of accurate and efficient coding of very high speed signal processing and memory blocks. - You will be experienced in VHDL/ModelSim to implement digital signal processing. - Involved in hardware development for new products, so experience in PCB artwork and schematic capture are very important to the role.
