Lead Change Manager - Testing Our Banking client is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Lead Change Manager to join their Edinburgh based team for a permanent position The successful candidate will have previous banking experience as well as the following skills: - Joining this newly formed team, you'll be working on significant projects, leading the transformation of our organisation - You'll be testing and deploying the latest technology for Core Banking and Payments, and helping us develop an efficient service orientated model - This is a fantastic opportunity to really shape your role, and develop your leadership skills in an agile environment - Flexible working is available as part of this role What you'll do This role will see you defining and delivering a strategy that will transform the current organisation. You'll drive the implementation of a new operating model, new processes and standards, the latest tools and technology and our people capability. You'll also be responsible for delivering a number of new and existing test programmes. You'll be leading and managing multiple testing teams (often concurrently) of varied skill sets, to improve systems and deliver an outcome that is truly client focused. Providing direction and leadership on all testing matters, you'll be monitoring and controlling testing deliverables across many different stakeholders. Vitally, you'll also manage and build the capability of a team of Testing Analysts. You'll always look for continuous improvement opportunities and be a champion of change. Your role will also involve: - Producing detailed test strategy approaches, ensuring the output quality from all testing meets the requirements of each applicable test strategy - Providing direction and leadership on all testing matters within the programme or project including adoption and compliance with bank wide change standards whilst also being a strong advocate in the support of improvement principles - Managing stakeholder relationships with the business, technology and third parties - Empowering and leading a team through the project lifecycle The skills you'll need To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent project and change management skills with detailed knowledge of full systems development lifecycle and key delivery stages. We're looking for someone with experience of leading an end-to-end testing capability and taking accountability for such deliveries (e.g. systems testing / UAT / Non functional / Performance). You'll have an in depth knowledge of key testing methodologies, resulting in the ability to influence and eventually lead thought process on methodology and Governance.
