ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST You MUST be comfortable using SAGE A1 Jobs are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator/Receptionist to join our client based in the Port Dundas area of Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Accounts Administrator / Receptionist to join their existing team. Excellent chances of progression within the company for someone showing a willingness to learn and develop new skills. ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST - RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: - Answer inbound telephone calls from customers and suppliers - Respond to e-mail enquiries - Order stationary and any other required materials - Open and distribute mail - Carry out credit control duties via outbound calls and e-mails - update debtors list and contact companies regarding outstanding balances - Despatch duties - check delivery notes, label items for despatch, record items coming inwards - Update the repair register and send faulty goods off for estimates and repair - Order all equipment and raise appropriate PO number - Carry out customer feedback surveys - Book flights and arrange hotels for Engineers and Account Managers - General administration duties including filing, data entry, scanning, shredding etc. ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST - SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Candidates must have the following skills and experience: - General office administration experience (1+ year) - Experience of using Sage software - Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Windows, Excel etc.) - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Good telephone manner - Ability to work successfully as a team player - A thorough approach to work with an eye for detail and accuracy - Willingness to help out colleagues as/when required The contract will initially be an ongoing temporary position with a view of becoming permanent. Hours of work will be 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4.15pm on Fridays.
