Project Engineer (HVAC/Air Systems) Basildon £20k - £30k + Vehicle + Fuel Card Project Engineer required for a rapidly expanding and innovative company that is an exciting period in their expansion having just received awards for their products and broken into international trading. The company are the sole distributor for a specialist airflow system which utilises air filtration and purification. The company are providing training for their proprietary systems and continuing professional development plans to build you up to the level of a technical manager in future. The role would suit a hands-on engineer that holds a City & Guilds in Commercial Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Level 2 coupled with where possible a Safe Gas Handling certificate 2079. You will be looking to take the next step in your career. They are looking for someone who is driven to build on the current successes of the company, who will make the most of their newly established grounding in international markets. Project Engineer Role - Plan, organise and co-ordinate the successful installation of the company's system and other air conditioning equipment. For commercial and residential projects, and will require supervising teams of Approved Contractors - Provide technical support and installation expertise and troubleshooting wherever needed both within the company and to any external parties - Develop an expert knowledge of the company's products, related technologies, equipment and processes. - Investigate and solve technical problems using best practices to resolve issues - Keep up to date with industry changes, regulations, specifications and standards and apply them as necessary. - Complete the installation, planned maintenance and repair of the company systems and other air conditioning equipment, when required - Actively take part in R&D for the company's products - Manage contractors on projects, including; selection, projects, deployment, health and safety, etc - Installer management including; training, selection and preferred installer lists, CPD - Project management including; contractors, materials, etc. - Marketing and business development - Continuous improvement of the company's policy and procedures - UK wide travel - this is dependent on your own ability to manage teams remotely - Stay away at times Project Engineer Candidate - City & Guilds in Commercial Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Level 2 - Safe Gas Handling certificate 2079 - Proficient computer skills - Word, Excel essential - Full UK driving license - Experience of managing projects an advantage but not essential - Excellent communication skills in all areas (telephone, in-person and written) - Highly ambitious and driven to learn and succeed
