My Central Government client requires 2 experienced, professional Business Systems Analysts, for a 6-month initial assignment, with likelihood to extend. Location will mainly be in Southend-on-Sea with some UK travel to other sites.

A strong track record within Central Government is required for this role.

Essential Knowledge -
* Knowledge and experience with data integration, data store and data mapping, development, and/or projects essential
* Experience of Storyboarding
* Experience of UML with Feature board
* Logical Mapping of current state to future state
* System Process re-engineering
* Experience of XML/XSLT
* Experience of working in a middleware-based solution environment
* Experience working with IT projects spanning multiple teams and business areas
* Experience in working projects in an Agile Scrum environment

Skills -
* Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills, including technical writing ability (including UML).
* Ability to demonstrate flexibility, facilitation, diplomacy and prioritisation skills in a multi-stakeholder environment.
* Problem-solving while working in a time-boxed delivery environment.
* Leadership, team working and collaboration.
* Strong technical skills; ability to work in a large, complex IT estate.
* Knowledge and experience with data integration, data store and data mapping, development projects.
* Experience of working in a middleware-based solution environment
* Data wrangling, including understanding of SQL (estate currently includes use of Oracle, Ingres, MySQL) and Hadoup.
* Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
