My client is one of the world's leading suppliers of products, systems and services, mainly for automobile manufacturing. They employ over 8000 people in 23 different countries. To continue growth in the business, they are currently recruiting for a Project Manager based mainly in their West Midlands office but will require flexibility to travel to other clients sites. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for the completion of projects within budget, on time and to an acceptable quality while maintaining company policy and procedures. Further responsibilities of the Project Manager will include: * Establish key customer contacts and maintain relationships. * Manage all claims to and from the customers and suppliers. * Communicate with the Project Team; their roles, responsibilities and ensure targets are met. * Be responsible for cost control forecasts, reports and approval of all purchases. * Organize functional design specifications and document design reviews. * Prepare purchase requests for material and sub-contract packages. A relevant qualification in engineering HNC or equivalent, bias toward robotics is advantageous (degree is desirable). You will have Project Management experience with conveyor systems or related industry and robotic installations. You should be computer literate, MS project experience, ideally with experience of using SAP, knowledge of Microsoft office, with excellent communication and writing skills, be self-motivated and able to motivate a team while working well under pressure. Flexibility with hours may be required and also travel to other client sites in the UK and occasionally overseas. On offer is up to £52k + benefits for the right Project Manager.
