Job Title: Marketing Executive Slug & Lettuce Location: Field Reporting to: Sam Maynard, Marketing Manager Slug & Lettuce Job Overview As Marketing Exec, you will play a vital role in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and offer evolution for Slug & Lettuce, thereby enabling our pubs to deliver great experiences for their customers. In a fast paced and progressive environment you will deliver activity and coordinate the development of it across a number of internal and external departments and suppliers. The role would suit an ambitious and capable individual who has a can-do attitude, good attention to detail and drive to get things done. Job Description Support the Slug and Lettuce team in the execution of offer change and promotional activity Assist in budget controls and management of invoices / POs. First point of contact for manager queries, key internal customers, suppliers, agencies and printers. Proactively finding rapid solutions as queries arise Assist the Marketing Manager in creating and implementing a twelve month Brand Calendar encompassing wet and dry activity through use of POS, viral communication, PR and advertising. This would include briefing of promotions to site in a clear and structured way, and collation of nominations. Support the Marketing Manager with offer change (i.e. coordination of road shows, liaison with P&P, proofing), and the collation of Divisional decks Support Operations and Marketing Manager on capex re-launches by the delivery of any agreed marketing material, cross referencing and ensuring the PAR document content is delivered Hot 100 and project support Assist in the collation, review and analysis of all competitor activity for each brand. Be part of the eyes and ears of the department Assist in the creation, review and analysis of any specific local marketing. Assist in the monitoring of national marketing activity in partnership with the Finance team. Liaise with Online team to aid delivery of digital segment plans eg turning marketing briefs into compelling digital comms, reviewing Facebook pages Skills Required Confident and effective communication skills High level of organisation skills, able to handle multiple projects and support them all Must demonstrate effective written, presentation and facilitation skills Can identify problems and underlying causes quickly, and proactively help find solutions. Effectively prioritise work load A drive to get things done Good attention to detail and high level of conscientiousness Build relations at all levels Marketing/ Business qualification, or on-trade experience preferred Full clean driving license as travel to meetings and outlets visits will be required.
