End User Computing (EUCS) Judicial Handover Engineer Location: Daresbury Park Warrington Contract: 6 months Role description The EUCS Deployment Function within the MoJ is responsible for delivering IT solutions and products to the MoJ estate and related businesses. The Judicial Engineer, as part of a wider delivery team, are engaged in the overall transition to Windows 10 and Office365 for the MoJ and related businesses. The judicial Engineer will be based in regionally and will be expected to travel on a day to day basis to sites within their regions to complete one to one handover duties and on occasion to HQ London for team training / meetings. Principle duties / responsibilities / key objectives - Responsible for the deployment of win10/o365 device for judiciary within region at regional site - Provide a One 2 One service to each Judicial user at their regional site - Proactive approach to any issues faced, providing advice and positive resolutions. - Effective time management skills and committed work ethic. - Support the Judiciary during the go live stage of the product deployment - Represent the project professionally to the end users. - To communicate and articulate key changes in ways of working as customers migrate to Office 365. - Work closely with the Judicial Central Team to ensure that users receive a prompt and efficient support service - Ability to relay technical information in a clear and concise way to a non-technical audience - Ensure quality standards are adhered to for any deliverables to MoJ sites. - Raise any concerns that may impact on local level - Effectively log issues and ensure follow up and feedback with the end user - Work effectively as a member of the Go Live team - Perform any other ad hoc duties for the benefit of the project, as and when required. - Assist with other region deployment for the benefit of the project, as and when required Essential: - Previous customer facing roles in a large rollout environment - Experienced with office tools - Demonstrate a Professional approach - Excellent communications skills - Ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience - Communications, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills. - Demonstrated evidence of providing advice, direction and support to ViP users - Hands on experience of Win10 and Office365 - Experience of large scale migrations and technology roll outs - Can Do, Hands on Attitude - Ability to travel day to day to regional sites - Ability to work on your own initiative - Working knowledge of IOS and Android for mobile device configuration - SC Clearance Desirable - Experience of working in an enterprise environment - Familiarity with Office products such as Skype and OneDrive
