Manor Cottage School, East Yorkshire
‘Everyone has a personal best’
Would you like to work in this exciting Special School?
Are you ready for a challenge?
If you are then we have an opportunity for a Secondary Teacher and can offer you an experience that will help you to develop yourself whilst also having a profound impact on the lives of young people.
Manor Cottage is an SEMH SEN Day School for students between the ages of 7-16 with SEMH, traumatised backgrounds and associated learning and behavioural difficulties. Set within the beautiful East Yorkshire countryside the school was judged to be ‘Good’ in March 2015.
The school is part of Cambian Children’s Services whose vision is to be the leading provider of specialist children’s service within the UK. Cambian ensures that each individual achieves their personal best. Through innovative teaching and collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach we have a significant, positive impact on the lives of young people.
We are looking for a secondary teacher with SEMH experience. This is an ideal opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is seeking to expand and develop their experience in SEN. You will receive comprehensive training and support to enable you to build your career and continue your professional development.
Cambian Children’s Services are committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. As this post involves working with children, vulnerable adults and dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection.
We positively encourage prospective candidates to visit the school or have an informal chat prior to application. This can be arranged by contacting the Head Teacher, Mark Panting on:
