The Company: A leading mail order/ecommerce retailer providing personal shopping and credit services to around 1.5 million customers each year. We are embarking on a major transformation project effecting IT and Business Change and investing heavily in these areas. You'll have the opportunity develop and put into action an innovative strategy for all key business change projects throughout our financial services department, monitor the performance of change activity and build and steer an effective team with a core customer focus The Role: - The initial focus of the role will be on delivering the current pipeline of work, particularly the remediation programme, new bad debt models, a proposed programme of enhancements to systems and controls and a project implementing new payment options - You'll manage the Financial Services change portfolio, working under the frameworks and processes provided by the Group change function, to implement an effective change process, including effective requirements definition and benefits realisation. - Support the creation of an effective pipeline and prioritisation of change within FS . - Work collaboratively with all FS stakeholders to ensure colleagues are bought into the change process, and implement change in partnership with them. Key Responsibilities: - Managing the FS Change Team - Make effective use of internal resources to deliver the required outcomes - Build and steer an effective team with a strong customer, quality and customer outcome focus ? - Direct management of a business analyst to support the change process - Delivering key projects within Financial Services - Establishing an effective plan for change, working under the agreed change frameworks - Ensure agreed change processes are followed, with clear project stages and effective governance, including requirements gathering and benefits realisation - Manage key FS partners who support the change process - Ensure effective systems and controls are in place, working collaboratively with key business owners As a member of the senior leadership team - Contribute to overall strategic and business planning? - Deliver agreed strategic and operational objectives? - Monitor performance of change activity - Produce accurate, timely and concise reports on areas of responsibility - Collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge as appropriate ? You'll need: - Track record of successfully implementing change within a financial services environment - Good understanding of the financial services end to end operating model - At least 10 years experience of regulated Consumer Credit, including at least 5 years of POS retail credit - Working knowledge of CONC, SYSC and other regulatory requirements - Contributed to strategic planning at senior level - Excellent communication skills - Act as a role model across team and business - Collaborative approach - Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
