Conduct Risk Manager, Hove, 6 months, Pensions, Regulatory Change Major Insurance Client is looking to appoint an Experience Conduct Risk Manager to work on a companywide change project within the Pensions Space. Having recent direct experience in this world and type of project will be essential in driving this piece of work forward. The role is to manage the provision of independent conduct risk advice and guidance the business. The job holder will deliver effective 2nd line challenge to their approach to managing their risks, to ensure that the conduct risk framework, policies and processes are embedded. Key Responsibilities 1 Provide conduct risk advice and guidance on new projects, products, propositions, services and other initiatives 2 Set and manage the framework for providing 2nd line oversight of conduct risk matters within the business unit 3 Provide advice and guidance to the business on regulatory change, including preparing responses and inputting to lobbying proposals, to ensure early awareness of initiatives and effective identification and management of new and changing conduct risks. 4 Develop and maintain effective and close working relationships with the relevant business areas and the Group Conduct Risk team to ensure effective co-ordination of resources and responsibilities so that all material conduct risks are identified and managed within agreed risk appetite. 5 Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the conduct risk management framework and input to the conduct risk monitoring universe to ensure a consistent approach to the setting, managing and assessment of conduct risk across the business. 6 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of conduct risk requirements, industry best practice and developments, sharing knowledge with the business 7 Deputise for Head of Conduct Risk as required and escalate issues as appropriate. 8 Manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the company's policies and procedures, to maximise the performance of the area.
