Due to continuing business success and growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity available for 2 Project Engineers to join our team in Llangeinor for an immediate start. In return for your hard work as our Project Engineer, you can expect to receive a competitive salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with a range of benefits that include a competitive pension as well as working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday. The Ideal Project Engineer: The ideal Project Engineer will have a detailed understanding of a Project lifecycle and exercise independent judgement and management in the delivery of the allocated tasks throughout. You will also have: - Engineering Bachelor's Degree or equivalent vocational qualification - 5+ years' experience in a related defence/technology company with significant Aerospace experience - Understanding of Defence and Aerospace Quality Standards (ISO 9001 and AS9100) - Full UK Driving License We will also consider applications from recent Engineering Graduates. Project Engineer Responsibilities: Reporting to the Engineering Manager / Technical Delivery Manager, the role of Project Engineer is to deliver tasks allocated by the Business Unit Management Team and Senior Engineers to the required time, cost, quality and scope. Duties include: - Design and development of modified and new product in line with customer requirements - Verification and validation (including conduct of trials) - Preparation of design documentation - Changes to drawings, material and constructional specifications - Providing support for the completion of Bids and proposals - To actively and positively contribute to the design and development of new products and services - To support other departments in the successful delivery of existing products and services - To proactively support continuous change programmes, identify and recommend process and operational improvements About Airborne Systems Airborne Systems is part of a highly successful international parent company.
