About the role:

The key responsibilities will be to providing clear directives and support to the administrative team, along with development plans to ensure efficient cross functional working and business support. You will also be managing the Regional Pricing Managers to drive the pricing strategy to maximise profitability and drive best practice, to develop, execute and maintain processes in direct response to market conditions and competitor price movements. In addition you will provide vital support to the Head of Pricing in leading process improvements and developing communications of all pricing matters both internal and externally, as well as representing Pricing to the wider business.
You will work closely with the product and procurement teams to ensure changes are fed through quickly and effectively to the business, as well as the Analytics teams to work on continuous improvement within data and processes.
You are likely to have proven previous experience leading and executing price strategies in large, complex, multi-channel businesses, with proven commercial acumen and demonstrable experience of delivering bottom line results by successful execution of price change/strategy. You will have a strong statistical background and ability to manipulate data via spreadsheets and/or relational databases.

You will have the ability to surmise and simply present complex pricing methodologies to drive quick and effective decision making and an understanding of commercial agreements in the construction industry would be desirable.
Demonstrably strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at a senior level are also essential to be successful in this role.
