Machine Maintenance Technician Purpose of Machine Maintenance Electrician's role: The Technician's role is to provide a highly skilled service to maintain the machinery / facility and associated services to ensure the safe continuity ofour clients business. As part of a multi skilled team you will be involved in the planned preventative maintenance systems as well as reactionary intervention when required. Key responsibilities: * Maintain all production equipment and machinery within the business, including high tech CNC. * Maintain the building fabric and employee facilities to a high standard. * Carry out Planned Plant Maintenance (PPM) as instructed on all utility plant, air conditioning, heating and associated services. * Able to install new plant and machinery. * Have relevant working knowledge of all maintenance trades. * Must be able to understand engineering and technical drawing. * Work with all other departments to maximise the cost saving and efficiency opportunities. * Maintain and update all relevant records and reports. * Perform any other tasks required to assist in dealing with maintenance and facilities matters. Qualifications & Experience: * Mechanical/electrical or multi skilled apprenticeship & certification * Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in the engineering disciplines * Conversant with all related H&S regulations (17th Edition) * Qualified in electrical factory regulations * Computer literate including Microsoft Office packages * Conscientious and reliable * Flexible employee with 'can do' attitude * Be a good communicator * Must be capable of working unsupervised * Be prepared to travel and work in other facilities when requested * CNC machine fault finding and repair (use of diagnostics) About Aeropeople: Aeropeople are a leading dedicated Aerospace and Autosport technical services provider specialising in the recruitment of permanent and temporary staff.
