What are we looking for?

The role requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to create layered Photoshop files for desktop and mobile executions using existing templates and styles. You will be required to prepare pixel perfect images, compressed for the web and upload them to the Internet via our content management system.

Reporting into and working collaboratively within a team, this is a great chance for someone to come in at ground level and develop their web design and coding skills as well as gaining experience working for a large e-commerce business. Once established, there will be the opportunity to work on increasingly varied project types.

What you’ll be doing;

Taking your lead from the UX Designer/Developer to update existing pages and banners as well as creating new banners for desktop, mobile and tablet.

Use our Hybris CMS to upload to and amend the website using basic html and css coding skills.

Make sure that all changes to the website are optimised with the aim of improving search engine optimisation (SEO).

Attention to detail is a must.

Manage the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns within agreed timescales.

What we’re looking for…

Ecommerce experience in similar role

Experienced in web design, visual design, and/or print design

Some commercial experience / background would be a bonus

Good verbal communicator

Organised and able to manage own workload

Proficiency in Adobe CS

Self-motivated, mixing inspiration with attention to detail

Good knowledge of typography, layout, and colour

Basic hand coding (HTML & CSS)

Usability, accessibility
