Golborne / Stonecross (Wigan/Warrington)

Main purpose of the role:

To support the business through the provision of high quality general administrative support as part of the IT function. Working within a busy IT Department to ensure all software and hardware records are maintained, and a proactive service is provided to internal and external customers.

The role:

·To provide positive, proactive administrative support to the business and colleagues

·Act as an ambassador for the wider IT function, taking on new tasks as required

·Proactively managing the existing workload and looking for new ways of working

What we expect of you:

·Previous experience in a busy administrative role, not necessarily within an IT department

·Comfortable with systems and the general principles of technology

·The ability to multitask and to be flexible, whilst maintaining excellent communication skills

·Intermediate MS Excel desired, with proven experience of the following:

•Maintains accurate records assisting in purchase orders and invoicing

•Filter data and manage a filtered list.

•Perform multiple-level sorting, use sorting options,

•Use mathematical, logical, statistical, and financial functions

·Maintains a positive and friendly attitude whilst dealing with sometimes challenging interactions
