About the role
Due to our increasing workload we are currently looking for a client-side Senior/Principal Project Manager in our Glasgow office.
You will be responsible to undertake all duties necessary to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure delivery of the project objectives, and will have the opportunity to work across a number of projects in the Central Belt and Highlands (with a focus on public sector).

Who are we looking for?

We are interested in speaking to experienced Project Managers with consultancy background, who have the desire and capability to progress their career and will be given the opportunity to drive the business forward.

Key skills and experience:

Experience in a similar role with a construction consultancy, ideally on both private and public sector projectsKnowledge of building technology and construction principlesA good understanding of forms of building contract (including JCT and NEC3) and experience of contract administrationAbility to control day to day programming and planning, monitor progress and expenditure of projectsQuantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor background/experience would be beneficialExcellent communication and client facing skills, combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skillsMembership of a construction related professional body, such as CIOB or RICS – desirableProject management related qualification (Prince2 or similar) – desirableThe position will require travel to client meetings and other UK sites, therefore a full UK driving licence will also be essential
