We are looking for 4 talented Service Engineers to join our UK team based at our Yeovil site in the South West of England. Your main activities will include:

• Provide faster and better informed technical solutions and advice to customers, enabling customers to maximise the availability and serviceability of their aircraft safely
• Discharge day to day operational technical support through a task management process
• Contribute to the development of the aircraft in service by the direct feedback of in service technical issues to AW CS&S Engineering
• Provide advice on fault diagnosis
• Provide on-site customer location, technical/design support beyond the technical capability / authority of the Field Service Representatives
• Preserve airworthiness of AW in service aircraft by close co-operation and coordination between Operators, Service Engineering and CPE’s offices
• Reduce the workload on core Engineering staff by resolving issues within CS&S UK
• Provide technical advice to AW colleagues to minimise material and minimise maintenance effort
• Develop damage and repair limits
• Assist in maintenance schedule development
• Provide Engineering analysis of technical data feedback from customer operations
• Assist the Platform leads to gain operational and cost of ownership support benefits
• Conduct aircraft surveys when requested
• Provide assistance to the Warranty manager with the provision of advice on in-service issues
• Support the platform User Groups, when requested
• Report on issues and activities
• Provide performance reports as required
• Assist with the development and continuous improvement of departmental processes

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experienced Aerospace Engineer with a proven track record of responsibilities in either the Maintenance or Design and Development fields
• HNC/HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in an Engineering related subject with significant experience of aerospace design and / or maintenance in a technically responsible role
• Good understanding of aircraft documentation
• Have an understanding of the design process
• Be organised and have sound analytical skills and logic
• Be able to handle challenging conversations. Listen, understand and respect different views and ways of working. Stand ground when needed.
