Main Responsibilities

Own the capital forecasting process, including population of CCS (Catalent Capex System)Track project spend on all CCS approved assets, ensuring no spend on non-approved assetsPartner with key project managers to deliver capital cost managementAssist in annual external audit and other ad hoc queriesSupport the CFM on ad-hoc, regular and project activity that involves financial business analysis, helping the wider business to understand the financials. This work load is expected to grow over timeCollate weekly global metrics – cross functional workingTPM – stand ready to support ad hoc / regular meetings as requiredCompile and maintain register to show compliance with FARs in accordance with the contractual terms of the Conrad agreementReconcile all activity on the Macivivia project including providing financial insight into actuals and forecasting supportPrepare submissions on the Macivivia grant in accordance with the agreed submission procedures for review prior to sending to the consortium leadersControlling, managing and forecasting of the entire DAS P&L and Balance sheetPrepare and collate the month end folder for review within seven days of month endMaintain accurate accrual and prepayment reconciliations including calculationsUse Change point software to analyse and forecast revenue streamsAttend the weekly revenue forecasting meeting providing financial insightMiscellaneous invoicing and raising of credit notesResponsible for population of HFM consolidation software with actual and forecast dataPreparation of reporting packages to be sent to Corporate headquarters in the USAAdhere to tight two day close reporting scheduleMaintain responsibility as the site Concur expert and administratorOversight of T&E, credit card and telephone expensesSupport queries on expenses locallyWork with payroll on annual P11D processReviewing VAT aspect of claimsTechnical experience

Good understanding and experience of general finance (Journals, Accruals, Prepayments, Creditors, Debtors, Fixed Assets and Reconciliations)Good, practical experience with an ERP systemAccounting for foreign exchange gains / lossesKnowledge of JD Edwards and Hyperion (HFM) an advantageSkills

Strong Excel skills – vlookups and pivot tablesDemonstration of strong communication skills at all levels. The role will require regular contact with finance personal internal and external to the site as well as non-finance personalAbility to problem solveAccurate and dependableEducation/ Qualifications Required:

GCSE (Equivalent) – Grades A-C in Maths and EnglishSupport will be given for study (AAT or CIMA)Desirable:
