Site Maintenance Engineer Havant On Going Contract / Permanent Competitive Salary This is a ?hands on' role responsible for the maintenance of site and office facilities, services, processes, plant and equipment in support the day to day operation of the Havant site. Responsible for: - Building and grounds maintenance - Intruder and fire alarm systems - Maintenance of company pool car - Monitoring and maintenance of site and office equipment, facilities and infrastructure - Waste management Main Duties - Attendance of site and office meetings - Compressor testing and maintenance - Day to day maintenance of the building and grounds - Ensuring intruder and fire alarm systems are regularly tested and fully functional - Ensuring site and grounds are tidy - ESD safety calibration and test - Ladder safety check - Management and administration of office and site documentation - Minor electrical repairs and installations - Minor maintenance of air conditioning system, (filter changes, replacing fuses, etc.) - Monitoring and maintain hot water system (legionella control) - Monitoring and maintenance of internal and external lighting - Operation of scissor lift, access tower, cherry pickers, etc. - PAT testing - Preparing CAD layouts for office moves, etc. - Supervision of relevant subcontractors and suppliers - Air conditioning - Building maintenance, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc. - Cleaning and hygiene services - Gardening and pest control services - Other site and office requirements as necessary - Site security - Waste disposal - Testing and maintaining emergency lighting - Water meter readings Qualifications & Experience: - Time served Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Mechanical maintenance engineer, and City & Guilds Level in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent BTEC National Certificate); or; other equivalent relevant qualification - Excellent understanding of site and building maintenance issues - Hands on site general maintenance skills - People management skills - Current driving licence holder - IPAF qualified - Trained by accredited provider to operate forklift trucks - Qualified electrician, mechanical fitter or other relevant trade would be desired
