Job Description The responsibility of the Regional Information Security Manager is to assist the Head of the region to support the entities and Brands in the EMEA region to establish, operate and maintain an Information Security Management Process. This includes compliance to security standards and procedures in the region Key Responsibilities - A Implement the Information Risk Management policy within the region - Act as an information security subject matter expert in the region - Promote and coordinate business continuity activities in the region - Establish and provide guidance and support to the regional risk and continuity community and business stakeholders - Establish and maintain processes for monitoring and reporting the status of Information Security risks and incidents in the region - Provide assistance during significant Information Security and Business Continuity incidents and breaches within the region - Support the local businesses in maintaining relationships towards regulatory and law enforcement, including data protection - Maintain a security awareness programme and create a security champion network within the region - Promote good IT practice within local IT communities in the region - Establish a community with other regional security managers including those in other parts of Maersk group. Required Experience & Skills - Proven experience of managing and implementing risk within a global and similar size business - Good functional knowledge of end-to-end risk and continuity policies, procedures and controls - Being able to demonstrate how information risk and business continuity management can support the core business and the potential return on investment - Proven ability to work and effectively prioritize in a dynamic and decentralized work environment Education & Certification - A Master degree in computer sciences, information management or another related area; (A Bachelor degree can be accepted if experience is extensive) - Security certification/accreditation is highly desirable We Offer An exciting and attractive career is offered in an ambitious and competitive international environment with the possibility of continuous professional and personal development.
