Are you an Optometrist, newly qualified or experienced, looking to join an independent practice where you can be valued, rewarded for your clinical and quality communication skills, and develop your career? ( current GOC registration is required) Our client is a small to medium sized independent group of Opticians that puts customer service at the forefront of their ethos and business practise. The position is working for a quality branded and established practise, in an affluent town location, with the added convenience of having a train station nearby and be amongst pleasant surroundings. The company culture is to give the best customer service within the clinical setting. If the patient leaves feeling confident about the service and products they receive, our business model and return customers support growth and enable all to achieve year on year success. To achieve this our Optometrists work as part of the practice team group of four practices. Our client has a loyal and growing base of customers who return regularly. They are proud of their patient care which they strive to build on, and take very seriously. The company invests in accredited training for all the team as well as providing excellent optical equipment and support for their optometrists. The practise's Optometrists have the freedom of 30-minute appointment slots and the full support of an experienced practice team. The clinics have variety and can be tailored to suit the optometrist's preferences, incorporating Private, NHS and some Contact lens work (working alongside a CLO). All the practices have digital retinal cameras, Icare tonometers and auto refractors. The company offers a competitive experience-based salary, generous holiday entitlement, the opportunity to supervise a pre-registration optometrist or Student DO if desired. GOC Fees are paid. CET grant and training courses are available. Current GOC registration is required. To apply for this role, please call or email Karen Griffin at Silchester Associates. We look forward to talking to you.
