We are now recruiting for a brand new role within our Risk & Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and work with senior stakeholders across the business and the wider PFG group. Job purpose The Risk and Compliance department are responsible for providing the second line compliance assurance for the business, this is to ensure that activities are being carried out in line with the company's policies and procedures, and that good customer outcomes are achieved. This role will undertake activities in line with this objective. Responsibilities - Conduct Thematic Reviews required in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, or in light of any concerns raised in Moneybarn or PFG. - Undertake feedback meetings on audit results to all levels within Moneybarn. - Conduct compliance audits against prescribed company procedures required in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, or in light of any concerns raised in Moneybarn or PFG. - Undertake reviews of departmental 1st line audits required in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan, or in light of any concerns raised in Moneybarn or PFG. - Ensuring that all Statutory Documents are issued in line with regulatory obligations. - Responsible for supporting the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and ensuring the monitoring activities are completed in line with the plan. - Support line managers in the design, operation and improvement of the 1st line audit activities - Ensuring that any actions identified from the audit processes are logged and followed up. - Provision of support for Line Managers on regulatory Compliance matters. - Monitor compliance to company policy and procedures. - Other support to the Risk and Compliance function as required. The person specification: - Eye for detail to undertake audits - Remains calm under pressure - Enjoys being part of a team - Able to develop a plan of approach but if the situation demands it then able to adapt - Good time management - Good communication skills, both written & verbal - Comfortable working with and understanding complex end to end processes - Ability to critically analyse data and identify patterns and themes - Comfortable presenting feedback and results to both peers and managers Essential qualifications, skills and experience: - Good analytical skills - Excellent Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) skills - Ability to create and manage relationships across the business at all levels - Audit or process review experience - Work scheduling and planning experience - Experience of working in a regulated environment Desirable qualifications, skills and experience: - Understanding of Vehicle Finance Information for applicants: Sound like you?
