Our software engineers are responsible for all development, testing and delivery of feature requests across the Software Development Lifecycle. Excellent technical skills paired with a strong commercial understanding of the industry are essential to enable a full understanding of the relationship between customer wants and needs and how these translate into feature requests. Our software team works with a large technology stack, the core of which is C# ASP.Net, MSSQL and HTML5, but also includes; C++ hardware integrations, PHP website plugins, IOS and Android applications, amongst others. We constantly review new technologies to add to this stack to ensure to ensure we offer the best product possible. This also enables our team to continually build upon their existing skill set. Required skills: - A minimum of 5 years development experience. - A minimum of 2 years agile experience and able to demonstrate how this has been applied with success to the roles you have performed. - A firm understanding of at least one of the following languages:- - Javascript - .Net framework - C++/C# - Knowledge of other programming languages is desirable - A firm understanding of source code development and deployment including a wide variety of tooling including Visual Studio, GIT/Gerrit, SonarQube, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins etc. - A good understanding and application of development practices such as TDD and BDD - Solid understanding of continuous integration practices and the tooling required to deploy. - Ideally educated to degree level What we offer in return: - Modern office environments - Pool, gaming and music - Partying like a rockstar! - LAN Parties - Awards - Ability to skill up!
