Application Support Analyst - Datix

Bupa are looking for a Application Support Analyst to join our team in Leeds. Ideally you will have a background in supporting Datix applications however this is highly desirable and not essential.

Job Purpose:

  • To utilise a combination of technical and service focused skills in delivering a high quality application service.
  • Provide pro-active technical services to ensure appropriate system availability, reliability and performance necessary to underpin business operations.
  • An emphasis on documenting applications, processes and procedures and adding these to the team Sharepoint site.
  • To participate in or undertake the business and technical analysis, specification, estimation, design, development, implementation and support of system solutions, working with Care Provision Users, Third Party Developers, and other IS colleagues, as appropriate.
  • Deliver 1st line applications support (directly to users) for delivered projects not yet in support.
  • Deliver 2nd line applications support (through IS Service Centre) maintenance and small enhancements work for supported applications (in conjunction with third parties).

A knowledge of one or more of the following technologies would be useful but is not a prerequisite:

  • Datix
  • Microsoft SQL*Server
  • UNIX (including shell scripts)
  • Sharepoint
  • Microsoft CRM Dynamics
  • Perl
  • Maestro scheduling (Tivoli Workload Scheduler)
  • Oracle
  • Microsoft Access
  • Hardware configuration (UNIX and Windows)
