Position: SAP Change and Release Analyst Location: Teesside or Royston Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £Competitive About the role: As they continue to build their global function, they have an opportunity for a Change & Release Analyst whose role it will be to deploy and execute the Change, Release and Configuration Management processes for the SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE). The role will work as a strong partner with the SAP CoE ensuring full alignment with global operating procedures for changes to configurable items. Responsibilities: - Develop, implement and continuously improve the global change management processes and operating mechanisms within the SAP CoE to ensure all updates to the SAP production landscape are undertaken in a disciplined and controlled manner - Managing and directing the change portfolio, and act as the team focal point as SME - Be responsible for data accuracy in the systems of record and ensure adequate levels of management reporting to address agreed KPIs for the SAP CoE - Ensuring the forward schedule of change is maintained and regularly reported to Change Management and SAP CoE management - Responsible for ensuring compliance in process execution and represents SAP CoE changes at global CAB for approvals to release - Ensures that emergency releases to production are followed up and compliance reporting retrospectively prepared - Implement and operate the day to day management of the change and release management process for the SAP CoE About you: - Experience of operating a Change and Release Management process in a large distributed global application, preferably in an SAP environment - Experience of operating within a good documentation culture, including adherence to formal control processes - Experience of coaching and mentoring IT colleagues in the importance of adherence to formal processes - Strong MS office skills - especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project - Experience of managing a structured release management policy, communicating change content details with CAB and CRB organisations as part of the IT Change Management process is desirable - Management of the change portfolio and product release notes with the Application Manager, with Service Desk, with Change Requestors and with business users is desirable - Experience in scoping, defining, implementing and then leading a change management service for a number of software is desirable - ITIL certification is desirable You may have experience of the following: SAP Change & Release Analyst, Change & Release Analyst, SAP Analyst, Change Analyst, Release Analyst, Change Manager, Release Manager, Change & Release Manager, SAP Solution Manager, ITIL etc. This vacancy is being advertised by EasyWeb Recruitment, the UK's leading Online Recruitment Agency.
